Andrew Raimist, AIA, is preparing a monograph and biography of Harris Armstrong, FAIA (1899-1973), Saint Louis’ most accomplished early modernist. Raimist Architecture has helped to save and renovate some of Armstrong’s work.

Armstrong received numerous awards and was widely published and admired. His work ranged from major office buildings and industrial facilities to homes, studios, and gardens.
